If you told a guy you’re dating for 5 months that you’re insecure about your body and flaws and he responds with “not gonna lie, you being insecure is unattractive and getting old!”

If he’s already annoyed with how much you complain about yourself, you’re probably the issue here. No offence 
But it isn’t attractive to anyone when their partners complain non stop about their flaws. Insecurity isn’t cute. 
If I was you, I’d end it and focus on learning to love myself before being in a relationship 
This will be an ongoing issue for any guy of all you do is complain about yourself

I’m 4’9”, 100lbs on a good day, just had a baby and still understand the idea of feeling lesser than in comparison! And that’s the issue. Why do we feel the need to compare? Especially when we have men that are clearly attracted to us. Right? That’s the first step. Stop comparing to stop complaining. Find things you do like about yourself and emphasize that. Ask him (when you’re comfortable) what his favorite parts of you are. You’d be surprised at the answers. One of my partners answers was my hands. Lol we unfortunately will never have the body of a 5’9” woman with a full bust and can look a man in the eyes just as much as they will never have or understand being petite and dainty. I’ve had to learn to dress myself differently to highlight features when I want to appear taller. But I’m 27 and have just learned to embrace the shock of my size to people. It’s up to you if you’d like to end the relationship and I hear the other girls saying if you complain he’s right etc. however I disagree. Someone who loves you can address it in a much more empathetic way. You don’t need to feel guilty for voicing your inner monologue, you need reassurance. People in relationships for the long haul have to learn and be comfortable with all of the types of people you transition through. Some not always so positive. He’s allowed to feel that way but I’m my opinion could’ve voiced his feelings in a much more mature way. Especially knowing you’re already insecure within that topic.

Honestly people on here saying it’s immature are annoying yeah maybe it gets annoying if you complain a lot but every woman is insecure in one way or another even if they won’t admit and if he isn’t reassuring you of how beautiful and sexy he thinks you are without you even saying anything then he needs to go

It’s 5 months in and is insensitive to something you are sensitive about. He can think that all he wants especially if it’s a never ending topic but he doesn’t have to express that to you. He could have been more sensitive to you and offered to listen or give suggestions on how to have a positive self image. But this early on and someone not wanting to help me as a person or partner to improve things about myself? Na I’d leave. Just because we don’t seem like we’re compatible

You may not love some things about yourself but I’m sure everyone does. I know I do. But they are so many good things about yourself you can comment on here and there! Try to think positive or say something positive about yourself when you get bad thoughts. Loving yourself can sometimes be a fight but when you win it’s most rewarding 🤗

Insecurities are unattractive. We all have them. But we don't always want to hear sk ekne drone on about it. Often sounds like they just want validation or outside ego boosts. He's being honest. I'd appreciate that quality. Cause it IS exhausting having to listen to that. So doesn't mean you need to dump him. You need to work on yourself.
