I had a dye stealer and high beta numbers. Pregnant with a singleton. 
Ultrasounds are the only way to know.

The lines on an hpt and hcg aren't signs of a multiple pregnancy.
The only thing that can determine a multiple pregnancy is an ultrasound showing a multiple pregnancy.

Never had a dye stealer with my first I thought my appendix had burst I was 8weeks  did a clear blue digital as I thought the hospital were lying, 2nd I had a scan a week later and I was 12 weeks all faint lines
