Mooncup

Question

Hello ladies im 18 and i've just bought a Mooncup after 5years of using pads and tampons. i've also read some awful reviews on them so i'm asking you. Can it really get stuck up there? how far do you have to insert it? I'm starting my period in 3days and im nervous to try it for the first time. I'd really appreciate the fast replies. Thank you

I use the Lena Cup in the regular size and it works great for me. Cups come in all different shapes and sizes, so it really depends on what works best for you. It can take some trial and error and you might have to get a couple of different ones to see what works best for you. Put A Cup In It has a quiz you can take to see what cup would be best for you. I don't know anyone who uses the Moon cup, but it could be worth a shot. You could also try Diva Cup, Lena Cup, Lily Cup, Organicup, or the Saalt Cup. I've heard good things from those brands too (but I've only ever used the Lena Cup).
My cup has never gotten stuck or gotten lost inside me when I use it. A lot of people try to take the cup out by only pulling on the stem, but you should try to pinch the bottom of the cup to release the suction and then pull it out.
