Babe eating less and sleeping more

My 12 day old was eating about 3/3.5 oz every 2/3 hours the past few days. Today he seems to be sleeping more and is only eating about 1-2 oz every 3 hours. We have a pediatrician appointment day after tomorrow so I plan to bring this up to her, but just wondering if this is normal?
