My son just turned 10mos, and still not clapping. He’s waved a handful of times to my husband but not consistently. He will come over to me and lift his arms if he wants up, or grab my hand if he wants help to walk around, but doesn’t gesture other than that. He has little to no interest in peekaboo/pattacake or interactive games like that. If I start to try to engage him he’ll look at me, sometimes smiles, then walk away or go back to chewing on a toy, but doesn’t really try to mimic or interact.

He’s always been very physical, and concentrating on crawling/walking. Now that he’s walking he seems to engage a little more, but I really have to work for it. Anyone else with a LO like this? I know every child develops at their own pace, but how concerned should I be about his behavior?
