6 weeks Gestational sac only?

Is it normal to only see the gestational sac at 6 weeks? She said i measured to be 5 weeks but according to my last period im definitely six. It’s hard not to worry when it’s taken me so long to get pregnant lol but is that normal? I don’t have any pics as she told me to come back in 2 weeks. But it was literally JUST the gestational sac… no yolk or baby.

This happened to me! At 6 weeks 2 days we only had an empty sac. 100% sure of dates because we used a trigger shot. At 7+1 baby was there, and now he’s 2 months old. It’s just really early mama.

i wanted to update y’all we got an ultrasound today and the baby looks healthy!! only 3 days later and the yolk sac and fetal pole were visible 💕🌸

I didn’t have anythig but a yolk sac either at 6 weeks! My measurements were off because I was actually a week behind. It scared me to death! I had to wait till I was 8 weeks to confirm if I was having a baby or miscarriage. I’m due next month with the baby that almost scared me completely to death a few months ago :)

This is same situation I am in thought I was 7 or 8 weeks but I'm irregular went for first ultrasound today and was just a sac she asked how sure I am my last period well guess I'm not to sure go back in a week I'm so nervous as just 4 months ago I mc but I have heard amazing stories of it not showing till later I'm hopeful 🥰🥰

It depends-if you are 100% sure of your dates then you should see a yolk at 6 weeks. However, there’s a chance your dates could be off and you aren’t as far along as you think. Either way you should repeat the ultrasound in a week. Wouldn’t hurt to get your hcg drawn too-if that number is high and you’re still only seeing a sac then it’s more likely to be a blighted ovum.

Also I got my blood drawn and it was almost 1800 and my progesterone was 3.86 which was super low and said I was gana miscarry

This happened to me I was 6 weeks with a 5 week gestational sac no baby no yolk went back in and it was still the same . I had a blighted ovum and I was 9 weeks with a 5 weeks empty sac and had to take 3 rounds of cytotec to expel the pregnancy. I would never wish this upon anyone the worst my husband and I have ever been through. I hope this isn’t the case for you
