Sex is normal and natural. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with wanting to wait to experience that with someone until you’ve made a legal (and in some cases religious) commitment. I don’t think there’s anything wrong with waiting until you feel like you’ve found “the one” without being married. And I don’t think there’s anything wrong with casually having sex with little to no romantic attachments. 
I’ve only had a hookup once before and it wasn’t really my cup of tea.

I prefer to be in a relationship with the person I’m having sex with but I’m a lesbian so it’s definitely not with men.

I’m married but when I was single, I would only have sex with men I had a romantic relationship with. It just didn’t feel the same and wasn’t as enjoyable if I didn’t. I did it once and it just felt wrong. That may stem from being raised in a religious house, and being taught to wait tell marriage. Even though that wasn’t important for me, maybe it did rub off on me in some way even after I realized I wasn’t necessarily religious myself.

I’m asexual, there’s so much in life that’s more important to me than doing something i’m very uncomfortable with and are repulsed to do(i’m repulsed by the thought of myself having sex with anyone both men/women/non-binary people).
