Moving up csection?

Question

My mom is in town and will be until 5 days before my csection she lives 8+ hours away, do you think it’s reasonable to ask my doctor to do the csection at 38 weeks instead of 39? She’s my main help with my kids! So it’s a tough situation

In my state by law they cannot before 39 weeks unless there’s a medical reason and it’s deemed necessary

They don’t like to do sooner than 39 because they count that as term. I’d ask your doc for special circumstances

My doctor won’t even go a day before 39 weeks…
The only reason why I got to go before 39 weeks with my first son is because I was high risk and my high risk doctor had the final say. 
But it doesn’t hurt to ask!

I pretty much begged my OB and she said she can't go any earlier then a week and that would be labor day and they domt do it on holidays so..the 7th it is and that's only 5 days before my due date!!🙄

My High risk OB said anytime after 38 weeks is fine. I also have GD, so many that’s why.
