How often does your baby poop?

How often does your little one poop? My girl is 4 weeks and only goes every 2-3 days, by the third day she starts to get distressed and will scream in pain. My midwife said this is normal, however I don't think so and I'm not happy with it. What's normal for your baby?

Mine is EBF and poops about three or more times a day

I have the opposite, mine is EBF and was pooping 12 times a day for the first 1-2 weeks, which gave her a huge sore diaper rash! Now at 3 weeks she’s down to about 6 poops a day. But I’ve read it varies so so much between babies, some poop non stop like mine and others only once every few days. 💩

Same! The screaming is bad! We combi feed and were told to try a different formula which has helped loads (although hasnt stopped the issue completely!).
