Can some explain what the space and line is under the baby is?

I’m an ultrasound tech and the “line” could be a couple of things. Could be skin line, part of the nuchal translucency, or the amnion. All are completely normal. The “space” underneath that is still part of the gestational sac that is on that side of baby.

I would ask your dr cause sometimes back thickness like that on a ultrasound is a sign of down syndrome

Doctor confirmed it was the amnion!

It’s just the placenta it looks weird because baby is laying on it instead of floating around in the middle. If the dr didn’t mention anything I wouldn’t worry it looks normal.
