Is anyone else’s baby afraid of new people? Last weekend my husband’s aunt and uncle came to visit and my daughter cried for a good 5 minutes when she first met them! Eventually she opened up and was her normal smiling self, but it definitely took me by surprise. My son didn’t go through his stranger danger phase until he was around 9 months and it was only around strange men, so I really didn’t expect my daughter to go through it this young. She will be 4 months on the 21st and this is the first time this has happened.
