Names: Who are you telling?

I got some cute little customised bits today 😍 I wanna show everyone, but I'm still unsure if I want to tell people the name or not. I've told a few people (coworkers, midwife, glow) but noone close to me...
Whats everyone else doing? Pros and cons to each?

We’re not telling anyone gender and name because we don’t want the opinions on it before birth :D after there’s no change and people have to pretend to like it :D plus it’s exciting to share that secret.

We always tell as soon as we find out the gender. I start referring to baby by their name. This is our third baby and the first time anyone has said anything negative, which was just, "Are you really naming him Archibald?" I just smiled and said "Yup!" And the subject got dropped

I have told a few people... But the really important people to me I haven't yet ... Although my mom mentioned LOVING a name and it happened to be our babies name, so at least I know she likes it 😂 
Honestly the only reason I haven't told her is because it is more fun to not 🤷 cause I am an evil daughter and love my mamma

Well, I'm having a boy, and he is going to have a Welsh spell of his name, folks like to tell us a lot about what they think about that, and he will probably have my last name, not my husband's. My Mother-in-law has said to my husband's twin brother that she won't acknowledge him if that's the case. So fun times in naming for sure.

My family is notorious for sharing news that isn’t theirs to share. I knew I couldn’t hide my pregnancy, although I absolutely wanted to. With my son I tried to keep things private but I couldn’t even show up to a family bbq with close family and without my bump being posted to Facebook. When I found out this baby is a girl, I told close family and friends because I knew that we’d refer to her as a girl lol. As for her name, I’ve kept it as private as possible, but unfortunately my mum & sister saw her name on a personalized onesie when they had dropped by. I told them to keep their mouths shut or I will be very upset as I’ve been forgiving thus far. My nan has been on a trip and has shared my pregnancy with anyone and everyone she comes into contact with. Absolutely irks me, I’m going to have to pull off absolutely hiding my third from everyone. 
her name is Luna, it’s gaining popularity & I’m typically one to stray from popular names but I do really like it and it fits with my sons name😋
