I was diagnosed with severe preeclampsia and a PE one week postpartum (c section delivery). I was put on a bunch of things (lovenox a few times to get to therapeutic level and procardia/lobetalol for my BP) but my long term blood thinner is Warfarin.

My bleeding had slowed down a lot and now is getting heavier — I’m almost 3 weeks postpartum. Ugh. I also had complications with my incision, I had developed a hematoma from the thinners so that is healing as well. 😢

What were your experiences if you had to be on blood thinners? How long did your postpartum bleeding last?
