Is it normal for newborns' body temperature to be warm (around 98F) and to feel warm to touch and then a few minutes later feel cooler to touch. I'm a first time mom and I noticed after my LO cries he will get warm again. I know others have posted about the COVID-19 Vaccine. I got my second Moderna shot last Friday and I believe my baby had a reaction two days later. I'm breastfeeding and supplementing. His body got hot to touch for a couple days and we monitored his temp, only reached 100.4 once on rectal and tried again and it went back down so we didn't go to hospital. I'm now just trying to see what his normal temp is and it seems to be around 97-98F. I live in Michigan and have ac but it's still warm in the house. Any advice or info would be great thanks, it's mainly his torso that gets warm and not his forehead or back of neck really.
