TLDR; My dad is abusive and read through text convos where I told my mom I’m VERY newly pregnant at 3 1/2 months postpartum. He says she should’ve told him right away and is now threatening to divorce her because she kept my secret - like I ASKED. But when he talks to me, he tells me stories and lies. I feel so betrayed and don’t know how to react. Idk if I should go off on him or just cut him off or a mix.

Im 20 and I grew up surrounded by constant drama. My dad is a narcissistic alcoholic who has major blow ups, is always upset about something, etc. Even my sexual assault somehow was about him. My mom just puts up with it and I’m not really sure why.

Anyways, we never got along. He never was there for me, never supported me. I have a lot of issues from my childhood and even became toxic in my own relationship because I subconsciously started following behaviors I grew up around.

Long story short, my boyfriend of 3 years and I had our first baby 5 months ago. We’ve had obstacles as we try to fix our relationship while also taking care of our son. So when I found out I was already pregnant again last week, I found comfort in confiding in my mom first, as she’s the only one who’s been there for me, especially since she has gone through the same thing. I told her some info through text because we live apart and calling is hard. I just got it 100% confirmed yesterday. This morning, my dad snooped through her phone, found out I was pregnant, and went off on my mom saying that even though I asked her not to, she should have disregarded my feelings because she’s his wife, how he can’t believe she prioritizes my feelings, how she’s “too nice to me”, started talking shit on my boyfriend, and finished by saying he’s going to leave her for it. When I confronted him, he says I was just “misinformed” (by 4 people who told me the same exact story??) and told me he only read our messages because I texted her (which is 100% a lie). When I told him I was hurt he just said “ok”. When I called him on it he just says “believe what you want”

How would you handle this?
