Hair types

I’m always amazed by hair types and genes. My son was born with jet black straight hair, went bald and then it grew back blonde with half curls/half straight . His is now loose curls. My daughter was born with straight hair but it’s now ringlets at 1 year old. I’m hoping she keeps the curls. My husband had curly hair and mine is wavy. What hair types do you and your babies have? Of curls, what products/routines do you recommend?
