Taking Covid vaccine while pregnant?

Hey just curious what your doctors have recommended or said recently regarding if/when  (which trimester) is safer if at all to have the covid vaccine?
I didn’t have it before because we’d been trying to conceive (for years). Well it finally happened and now I’m concerned on both sides. I do not want to lose this precious gift as I have had a miscarriage in the past, but I also don’t want anything bad to happen and end up in a hospital because I didn’t get the vaccine. I have a husband and a 4 year old. 
So torn. My first appointment is in a couple of weeks…

The mRNA vaccines, so Pfizer and Moderna, do not cross the placenta. They do not interact with baby at all. The antibodies that the create DO cross the placenta so baby would get the protection. 22 different maternal and fetal medicine organizations are recommending it and saying it’s safe for pregnancy.

So I got covid in the beginning of my pregnancy, I'm now 14 weeks and baby is thriving. My doctor told me at my last appointment that since I'm in my second trimester she really recommends I get the Pfizer vaccine to protect me and baby. She said they are seeing a lot more issues on pregnancy later on with covid and it could be really dangerous for the baby if I got covid again later on in my pregnancy.
I'm getting the vaccine next friday.

My doctor personally does not recommend it for me. Current studies are for sure promising that it’s safe for pregnancy, but there is no baby thats been born to someone who got the vaccine before or during pregnancy that is older than a few months old at this point. His opinion might be different for different people based on their medical conditions and risk factors tho, I can only speak for what he has instructed me personally to do.

When I got covid, I was vomiting nonstop and lost 20lbs. I also was bleeding and ended up in the hospital. 
I know none of that can be good for my growing baby and want to lower my risk.

I would not. There are no studies on how this could affect the baby long or short term. It’s just not worth it in my opinion.

I’m personally not getting it. But if you are wanting it, someone in another board made a good point for waiting until you aren’t in the first trimester anymore since you could get a fever. Probably should ask your doctor though to be sure.

I wouldn’t get it. There are no studies on how this could effect the baby short or long term. And my Ob suggested to not take it also right now as to she feels the same!! You couldn’t pay me to take it anyways just my option 🤷🏻‍♀️
