You do whatever you want to do. I suffered alone from two miscarriages because we didn’t share the news. I wished I had told people and had support. This time, we announced at 12 weeks. The only reason the 12 week rule exists is because miscarriage is so stigmatized. There is nothing to be ashamed of if something goes wrong. You deserve support regardless.

We told immediate family, but we're waiting until after a cousins wedding to announce to everyone else (didn't want to overshadow the wedding). I kind of want 1 more US too, next one is on the 17th of Sept.

I'm not sure if I want to announce on social media or stuff yet. I am considering it and it will probably be around 12 weeks when I've had my first official scan (I've already paid privately for 4 😬) I have only told my sister too because she knew we was TTC and it was a struggle. My husband has told everyone he works with and everyone he speaks to because he can't keep a secret so feel we may aswell do a nice big announcement, especially considering it will be our last baby

I've told all my family (immediate and extended), my close friends and my work/coworkers already. I'm going to wait to do an announcement on Facebook until after we have our NT scan next Monday though. I feel like that will give me an updated ultrasound to use and that will be the first appt my husband is going to attend with me. Then I'm going to do a fun picture with my dogs to post 😊💕

We announced to a few immediate family 7-9 weeks but just hit 12 and don’t plan on announcing on social media for a couple months. I may do a personal announce just to the rest of family within the month though because they will catch on with my sons party coming up anyways haha!

I’m not announcing anything until after the baby is born and we know everything is fine. I go in today at 145 to schedule my cervical cerclage. I’ll be 10 weeks tomorrow. 
We had a horrible loss at 15 weeks and 3 days in 2019 because I have an incompetent cervix. Found out the hard way. 
So until we have the baby born and everything is going well, we want to keep hush hush. Our immediate family knows but that’s it.
