Off Depo Provera shot

Question

Hello, I've been off my Depo shots for a year and half now and have been trying to try for another baby but it's taking awhile for the birth control to fully ware out(maybe?) I was wondering if someone have been on the Depo and what was their side effect getting off the Depo or if they had a difficulty trying for another baby?.

So I was on the depo for 4 years, never had any of the possible side effects while on the depo nor ever got my period BUT when I stopped using the depo I bled heavily for 6 - 8 months and wasn't able to get pregnant for 4 1/2 years then after a high risk pregnancy that resulted in crib death at 6 weeks old [my heavenly miracle baby] after that I have miscarried twice once at 6 weeks then again at 23 weeks of pregnancy which the doctors could not determine a reasoning for the loss of both miscarriages. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND to ANYONE thinking of using the depo who would in the future enjoy having children and a family to NOT USE THE DEPO as contraceptive
