Pelvic/uterine pain after dropping - normal or no?
Hi all! So I’m 33 weeks 5 days, and at my last appointment a couple weeks ago, my doctor said he believes the baby has dropped and is head down. I agree because I had previously been feeling him all up in my ribs and had experienced a LOT of rib pain, which now is almost non-existent, and am feeling his kicks lower now.
Since that visit, over the last week or so, I’ve been experiencing pain most days in my pelvis/uterus area (like where you would feel period cramps.) It doesn’t feel like cramps, but more like stretching muscles, a dull constant ache most of the time. It is worse when sitting or reclining, and better when standing or laying down.
Is this normal after baby has dropped? Is it just because his head is low now and stretching out my muscles down there? Or is it a cause for concern?
