Is your baby sleeping in their own room yet?

Also, if they’re still in your bedroom, what do they sleep in (bassinet/pack n play/crib/bed share— no judgement!)? My little girl is 13 weeks old, and she’s outgrown her pack n play that’s in our room where she’s been sleeping. She’s also just about outgrown the bassinet we have downstairs for naps. She is MUCH bigger than my first daughter, who didn’t sleep in her own room w crib until 7 months, but I’m starting to think it’s time already just based on her size 🥺

This past week we have moved our 13 week old into his crib in his room. He was not sleeping well in his bassinet in our room and neither was I. He is a pretty loud sleeper, lots if grunts and movement and I could tell him knowing i was close by was making it worse and he was waking frequently. We've been doing daytime naps in his room since birth and he has done so well. So I gradually transitioned him to his own room. Started out letting him sleep in there half the night while I was still awake and would move him to his bassinet in our room. And then I let him stay the entire night. He's been solely in his room for 3 nights now and does fantastic. He sleeps more soundly and for longer periods of time. Woke once last night at 3am, did a feed and put him back down and slept till 6.

My LO sleeps next to my side of the bed in his pack n play since day 1 (in the bassinet attachment). He's 15 weeks now and wakes up around 3am for a diaper change and 5am for a bottle. Around 7-7:30 he wakes up for snuggles with mama in our bed til about 9am. Then he's happy for about 30 minutes until he gets hungry.
Day time naps, I've recently started putting him down in his actual crib in the nursery with a baby monitor on while I do things around the house. (Unless his daddy is home and then they will go snuggle/nap together in our bed).
We don't plan to move him to the crib/nursery during the night until after 6 months......maybe a year. Who knows.

Transitioned ours from bassinet (also getting too big) to crib last week. But, he’d been in his own room since 9 weeks (he’s 14 now). I found the transition to be way easier than expected (I wanted to do room and crib before he was really aware of his surroundings) but he seems to love the crib. What I’m not excited for is transitioning out of the swaddle… which just started today! 
I am really high anxiety about SIDS, so the thought of him not being in our room for the recommended 6 months was tough. But I thought it’d be better for everyone and so far it has been. We have a smart monitor and doors open (he’s right across the hall), and I wake easily to his sounds. Do what’s best for your family!

Our son sleeps in his pack n play in our room from around 8pm until his first feeding (usually between 2-4am) then we bedshare/nurse the rest of the night. I start my day around 6am and he typically sleeps in my bed until 8am. It works for us. We will work on extending his sleep time in his bed over the next few months and then hopefully transition him to his crib in his room by 7-8 months old.

With my son we did a combo of bassinet and co-sleeping but sleep trained him right before my daughter was born because none of us were sleeping well anymore. I own my own business so I work a bit and know I will be back part time soon so with my daughter she is in her bassinet currently but I have her crib in my room and will keep her there until she is at least a year which is what is suggested in Canada

My daughter is about 13 weeks as well and has been sleeping through the night for a couple weeks. It's been harder to get her to sleep in her crib for day time naps (our rooms are in the basement and i try not to take her up and down the stairs too much) but when she does she sleeps really well. I'm trying to make the move to her room at night but I am too nervous. It does make me feel better that others are also doing the transition but I'm waiting for my digital monitor to come in.

We started our little one in his own room in his crib from day one. His room is right beside ours and it’s literally less than 10 steps for my husband to be in front of him. This is just worked best for us since we have needy pets. We have a screen door on his room so we can hear him and there’s still air flow with his door closed. We also have the monitor set up so there’s truly no way we wouldn’t be able to hear him. Again, this is what works for us. When we are away we have him in his pack n play and he is definitely too use to his crib cause he doesn’t seem very happy with the limited space he has. He spins and spins and spins (does this is his crib too). As long as you follow safe sleeping measures your little one should be just fine :) I would definitely say start with naps in there and then add in the nights in a few days especially if you don’t spend a lot of time in the room on a day to day basis just for your little one to get use to the environment. We are currently room sharing in his bassinet as well! He is getting big too so we’ve started naps in his crib to get him used to it but they are only lasting tops a half hour so I’m sure it’ll be an interesting transition lol
