Uti and didn't know it? 13 weeks

Gave a urine on Friday and they called today saying I have an uti so I have to start some antibiotics. I had no symptoms, has anyone else experienced this? Is it bad?

Uti’s are common in pregnancy. I had 3 back to back and they ended up putting me on a daily antibiotic for the remainder of my pregnancy. If not treated it can be very dangerous for mom and baby. So good thing they caught it!

Opposite for me. My urination became SUPER uncomfortable and I told my ob I had one and she dismissed me and said it was part of pregnancy. A few days later I asked for antibiotics because I was sure this wasn’t normal. 2 days into antibiotics and I’m back to normal.

Yup; I just switched insurance from medical to kaiser & my medical dr I assumed didn’t check as I just had an appt with them last week & now it’s showing I have a bladder infection with kaiser today , but I feel pretty normal besides peeing a lot in the night but I honestly thought it was from the fan being on me. 
I am waiting for them to send my antibiotics in.

So far during this pregnancy I've had 2 uti's and zero symptoms with both lol. You'll be fine just take all of the antibiotics. I'm guessing that the doctors caught it really early before symptoms set in.
