Breastfeeding on demand ?

My 3 month old is EBF and was eating every 2-3 hours. Recently he wants to eat every hour, I’m thinking he’s going through a growth spurt. I’m wondering for EBF babies, is there ever a time where feedings are more “scheduled” or do they tend to just feed on demand when they’re hungry?

My son is 2 and sometimes nurses every ten minutes or every 6 hours 😂

When they’re that young there’s really no schedule. Sometimes they have a growth spurt and cluster feed. I feed my daughter roughly every 1.5 hours. She’s 7 months old. I always just feed on demand. She nurses about 7 times a day still and we also do some table foods.

As they get older it will become a bit more routine but always feed on demand ☺️
