Hi ladies.. so I got my Mirena IUD taken out back in Nov 2020. I had 2 iuds over the last 10 years and my period had completely stopped with it. I got my first real period in Dec, and all was good and dandy until May. In May I completely missed my period and in June and July I got my period like normal. Well here comes August, and I was 11 days late ( I did test but it was with a CVS brand it looked a little weird, I was going to test with a pink dye but then I started my period. I can post a pic in the comments) and it’s a little heavier than normal for me. Not soaking thru a pad or tampon, just a tad heavier. I actually put a call into my Gyno last week to explain to her what was going and that I’ve been ttc for 8 months with no luck and all she could say is keep trying to for a few months before they do any testing on me, so I haven’t technically been diagnosed with anything of there is a issue, and she thinks this could be how my normal period cycles were before the IUD🤦🏽‍♀️ i honestly don’t remember them before and I had my son 13 yrs ago as a teen. I have an appt with my pcp in Oct to have a physical and blood work done. Has anyone had or had something similar like this happen? What was the outcome?
