Cyst on baby?

Hi ladies. I’m terrified just left my OB visit and had a 35 week ultra sound, doctor said not to worry but she found what could possibly be a cyst on a side of my babies organs?? We scheduled a more thorough ultra sound w a specialist. I’m freaking out has anyone gone thru this and how bad is it?? Ty

My MFM doc says that he doesn’t even mention there being any cysts if he knows the screening tests all came negative; in other words, most docs don’t worry about it! Lots of cysts in ultrasounds resolve by birth.

My daughter was born with a cyst on her ovary. It was large and she had surgery at 6 weeks to remove it. She only has one ovary now but she’s healthy!
