Is there ever a good reason to cheat?

So my sis and I were talking yesterday and she said if a husband neglects his wife (doesn't talk to her, pay attention to her, just stays on his game all day without talking, etc) then she has every right to cheat. 
I was like ummm no wtf?? You guys took vows, there's no any excuse to cheat on your spouse. 
And well she's married and I'm not so maybe I don't completely understand. But idk, I feel like if things are that bad you try to work it out, not make it worse by cheating and say it's "justified".

Nope. You either fix the marriage or end it. Never an excuse to cheat. Never. I told my husband if he ever wants to be with someone else, just tell me first and we can end things. We both deserve to be each other’s one and only.

There is never a good reason to cheat. If he neglects you then leave him and find someone else. If you're feeling the urge to sleep with someone else, leave him first. If he's physically abusive you should try to leave anyway, but cheating on someone who is physically abusive puts you at a higher risk of being killed by them if they find out, so it's an even worse idea.

I’m going against the grain here, yes BUT what she described is not a good reason. 
I cheated on my first boyfriend. I was a teenager and he was almost 4 years older than me. When I was 16 he was 19 about to be 20. He was narcissistic, manipulative, a liar. So many things. I tried to break up with him once, he grabbed a knife and threatened to kill himself. I did call the cops on him that night. I was an older teenager but I was still a kid. None of the adults in my life stepped in and stopped this. He guilted me into staying with him saying that he would do it again. And so I ended up cheating emotionally. No regrets. I don’t care that I did it and I don’t feel bad.

If anyone ever feels like they have a right to cheat then they need to move on. No one deserves to ever be cheated on. If someone is that unhappy then they should leave if they can't work it out without running into someone else's bed.
