Is it weird to have a baby shower on Halloween Day?

My ideal location is available for my baby shower, but only on Halloween Day. I was thinking have a Fall festival theme, along with starting the shower around 1pm. Would you you attend ? At the time I will be 32weeks pregnant.

I was going to do mine the 30th of October. But the hall we booked was already rented out so the only day that was available was the 9th of October but it’s Halloween themed with a costume party included.

We are having a Halloween themed shower on October 23rd!! Wanted to do the 30th, but couldn't get the cookies I wanted for that date, so went the week before. I'm so excited about it!!!

Well it depends on the people your inviting if you have alot of friends or family  your inviting that have younger  kids and want to take them out trick or treating that might put them in the well I want to go but the kids want to go out....  and around my town last year because of covid the kids weren't allowed to in my neighborhood it may be a big deal to some and other not some much... so I guess I'm just trying to get at it depends on your invitation list

I think this sounds like a wonderful idea I'm a huge Halloween fan 🤣 but keep I mind that people with children may have prior engagements or traditions they do that may mean they can't attend sense it is a holiday. Now I don't think that's a reason to scrap the idea but just a reminder that it may effect attendance. (I only say this bc my sister in law has her daughters birthday party mid day every mother's day(just about) and then gets very upset when alot of people can't attend due to prior engagements for the holiday)

I don’t really see how it would be? And I mean, either way, it should be about if you like it or don’t mind it. If people don’t like it, they don’t have to attend.
