Anyone have Irish twins?

Pros in your opinion? Cons? Do you wish you waited? & how much of an age gap do they have. I have a 4 year old and 3 month old. I wanted to be done with kids by 30 so debating when it’s too early to start trying again

My kids are 19 months apart and I can’t fathom how people have them any closer 🤣

Done by 30?! I didn’t even start until after 30!!! Lol 
In my experience I believe a 3 year age gap is ideal, anything closer is too challenging due to the dependency of the toddler and more of a struggle to divide time. Much easier when there is a little more of an age gap. Also by 3 they understand so much more, as I am sure you see with your 4 year old.

Mine are 16 months apart, I have two older kiddos as well,  going out is the hardest thing I would say! I can't carry both of them !!!! I have to use a double stroller all the time.

I can’t imagine being pregnant again right now lol. But have another if you want! It’s your family so you can make it how you like :) no matter how close or far apart your kids are there will be pros and cons. That being said I’m so glad I had my kids 2 years apart, it’s a lot of work but they already are playing together 🥰

I have 14 months between my oldest two.  Took me 7 years to do it again with number 3.  It’s very intense in the early years!

Have not experienced this but my husband and I are already trying again. Our little one is almost 3 months and we really want our babies close in age. We will probably do back to back to back as we want a family of 3. I figure it will be hard regardless of the age gap but will be worth it as they get older and get closer :)

I was 5 weeks pregnant (unknowingly) at my sons 1st birthday. They’re 20 months apart and the thought of my eldest being any younger than he was actually actually exhausts me 😂 I think there’s pros and cons to both. My friend had two girls 11 months apart and then a 3rd three years later. She said she enjoyed the one on one time she got with her 3rd. 
Our 2nd boy was a happy surprise but part of me wishes I’d had just a little longer with my eldest. Some days are more hectic than others and I do find it hard to divide my attention between them both especially as I’m exclusively pumping. 😄

Please discuss this with your dr. It’s typically advised to wait at least 12-18 months. Pregnancy is hard on your body & it needs time to recover. My sil ended up in icu after the birth of her 2nd (11 months after 1zst) 
I will also say I saw both her children suffer greatly because she couldn’t handle both so close in age, obviously that’s not everyone, but it’s hard...

I have 5 all together. My second and third are 16 months apart exactly to the day. It’s hardest when they are young, double stroller was a life saver! I honestly don’t remember much of their early years and I think it’s because I was basically in survival mode caring for them and working FT…BUT they are the best of friends and I love seeing them so close. They are 8 and 9 now.

My kiddos are 17.5 months apart. I’m also one that wants to be done having kids by the time I’m 30 🤷🏼‍♀️ I struggle with energy as it is, I can’t imagine the older I get having kids.  But personal thought. Any who. The age gap has been fairly decent so far. At first it was a struggle since my son is super attached to me and hated sharing me. Plus I’m breastfeeding/pumping so it was hard to find time to pump. It definitely got easier after the first 5 maybe 6 weeks. I just learned what worked best for me. And it’s been going smoothly. If I were to have anymore kids I would probably hold out a little longer
