Cows milk allergy

Hi my son has cows milk allergy and I’m having a Low supply of breast milk hence I can’t fully breast feed. I need to supplement. Is there any formula milk that I can use that won’t trigger his allergies? Help!

Other options are soy (I don't recommend it but that is a option)
Holle formula
Kabrita goat milk formula

My son has CMPA and this is what we’re using. It’s the Enfmil version of allimentum. Both are pricey but we got a ton of sample from our pediatrician!

Best option would be talking to his doctor. My cousin baby was allergic to breast milk an  other kind of milk. I think I remember what it is but I don't want to give you the wrong one so your best option will be talking to his doctor and see what he says would be good for him. Like I think it was some type of vegan or vegetarian baby formula.

Similac and Enfamil both have products but I was lucky and didn’t have to use either one while my son had his milk allergy. I would ask your doctor first because I believe mine said insurance might cover the formula cost.

Definitely ask your doctors. 
Most of my mom’s kids were allergic to cow milk in the beginning and later grew out of it. She substituted with goat milk. It can get expensive though. She ended up finding a local farmer and pasteurized it herself.

I’d ask the doctor what they recommend. I’m surprised they didn’t give you a suggestion when they identified the milk allergy form you.

There is formula that contains no dairy or something like that I remember learning about it from a family member who’s son was allergic to her breast milk. I forgot exactly what it’s called but look into it because it might help your situation!
