Do you let your baby cry it out ?

My Son is 8 months old and sleeps in his Crib but for about 6 1/2 months he was sleeping with mommy & daddy. But for the past month it’s been very hard to put him to sleep and I know it’s because he’s teething and sleeping in his own bed now (aka sleep regression) But I’m trying to get my son in the habit of understanding when it’s bed time. when the lights go off and the white noise is on and he lays in his bed and I lay in mines.

I of course make sure he’s feed and butt is clean and even put some baby Orajel on his gums but if he is still fussing I will let him cry it out until he falls asleep.
