Nightmares at 7 Months?

My daughter is about a week away from 7 months. She has started to wake up screaming and crying but she's still asleep.

The first time she did it. I just watched her and eventually she just went back to sleep normally. But she had this sad breathing almost sounded like a crying noise.

The second time she did it my mother was here and she thought the baby was awake so she grabbed her which scared my baby more and then my baby was confused and started really crying and it took a while for her to realize it was me and her grandma. Took my husband coming and playing with her for her to realize she was okay.

Those times it was during naps. But now it's happening during her bed time too. It's more intense. She starts scream and kicking even though her eyes are closed. Eventually it sounds like she's crying. And then she'll calm down but her breathing still sounds like crying or the breathing you have after crying. And then she'll do it again. Sometimes she does it til she wakes herself up and other times shes able to relax while still being asleep..

Should I talk to her pediatrician? Is it normal?
