Dealing with nausea like a boss
Hi ladies,
Do you have any tips for dealing with nausea like a boss ? I’m almost at 17 weeks now and I’ve been a mess and been complaining a lot for the last few months. Since this isn’t going away clearly, how do I carry on with normal life ? Right now I can’t concentrate on anything - my office work is suffering, I’m not able to do basic household tasks such as cooking, I feel too tired to workout and I don’t go to restaurants cause the smells make me sick. As a result I’m not seeing any of my friends either. My initial plan was to lay low till I get over the first trimester. But now I’m pretty clueless on how to handle this and still have a life? Do you feel being busy during the workday or forcing yourself to commute to work etc helps ?
I’m already taking Zofran, so I’m terms of medication I think this is as good as it gets and there is nothing stronger. Still throwing up couple of times a day.
Sorry about the long post. But I’m pretty sick of myself and was hoping someone had some advice on how to cope and be more positive.
