How would you say if the baby movement is reduced ?

Hi girls 
I’m 34 weeks pregnant. I had 3 preterm babies and so worried about baby movements. I go to the hospital for monitoring babies heartbeat most of the time and baby is fine. 
How would you say if your baby movement is reduced or changed the pattern?!

Answer

I noticed a change in movement around 38 weeks. I was very paranoid due to my history of preeclampsia, so I was tried to be aware of her normal behavior (ie what foods made her more active, certain times of the day, etc). I can’t actually be sure if her movements were reduced, but I had a feeling of impending doom that I couldn’t shake, which is actually one of the signs to look for with preeclampsia. Anyway, I just felt something was off. I mentioned her changed/reduced movements to my OB who decided to deliver her that day based on my gut feeling. I had weekly NSTs and everything looked okay on the monitor that day, but my dr still took my words very seriously. After the placenta report came back it said basically my placenta was dying and my baby wasn’t getting the necessary nutrients, so it’s possible she could have died if I hadn’t followed my gut.

Answer

I was 39w1 and had a membrane sweep. He was active before the sweep but after he didn't move anymore. I gave him a few hours before I panicked. He still didn't move by night time I went to get monitored his heart was beating but he wasn't moving. The doctor told me he was having a "sleeping period". A few hours later my water broke and I had to be induced due to decrease fetal movements. I had a 45 minute ultrasound and he didn't move once. He didn't move during delivery either but his heart was beating perfectly 💙💜.
