High Ketones

So I just had an appointment today at 32 weeks. Baby is measuring 96th percentile and 5lb 2oz (supposedly). The dr mentioned that I had high ketones in my urine and asked if I had eaten within the past few hours (I had eaten 45 minutes before). He didn’t seem concerned at all after that and of course I didn’t think to ask questions while I was there, but now I’m googling and Google is freaking me out 😭. They say high ketones can have effects on baby’s mental abilities.

I don’t have diabetes, which is one thing Google is saying could be the cause. Another reason could be not eating enough carbs. I eat small snacks/meals throughout the day, but they’re typically all carbs with protein sprinkled in (had cheese, wheat crackers, fruit and nuts for lunch today with some juice. Like 800 calories worth). Could also be dehydration??? I definitely haven’t had enough water today 🥴, but I get so busy at work that forget to drink or even go to the bathroom.

So can someone tell me if they were told this and figured out what was causing it? Have I permanently damaged my child’s brain by something I’ve done/not done? Should I call the doctor back tomorrow?

TIA
