5 year old daughter just started Kindergarte & is crying and struggling at school... will she grow out of it?

My 5 year old just started school after being home with me daily for almost 6 years. Before school, she hasn't had much interaction except our family & extended family.

She seems to be struggling. Teacher said she does well in group activities like PE, art & music class, circle time, lunch. But when it's time for her to sit & be quiet and do her own work by herself, she cries & disrupts the class. It was so bad today she had to have a timeout in another classroom. After awhile, she came back & did the work. She also is lying and saying she "doesn't know how" to write her name (she does, has been able to for like a year and does all the time) and lied and said she doesn't know her numbers, etc. when she does.

Any advice? I am lost & teacher is saying if she doesn't do all her work it's not going to look good on her reports
