Did anatomy scan. Said I have anterior placenta. This is my 2nd baby & with my 1st placenta was in back and I could see all the kicks and movements at end of pregnancy , will I see that at end of this pregnancy too ? I feel kicks and see some kicks

I had this for my first pregnancy. You will still feel and see kicks, baby just needs to get bigger to feel through the placenta. I think I was around 28 weeks before I started to feel movement? It was my first though so I may not have known what to feel for and may have been feeling sooner thinking it was gas or something.  You’ll still get the experience don’t worry, and it’s harmless too!

My 4th pregnancy was anterior placenta and So is this one. As baby grew I was able to feel more and more. By the end I could see baby pushing my stomach, but not and clear shapes as with my others-- like when you can feel your stomach and think, "that's definitely a foot, or a leg". It's like a pillow softens everything.

I was scared something had happened from my 12 week appt, til now because I wasn’t feeling movement. Went for my gender scan, and I have an anterior placenta. This is my 4th pregnancy, and the first time this has happened. I’m bummed! But, as long as baby is healthy, that’s all that matters!!

With my daughter I had an anterior placenta and never had a problem feeling her move. I know everyone says it's more difficult but this time 3 years ago I was about 29 weeks pregnant, and I have videos in my memories from this night 3 years ago where she was pushing my stomach out by a few inches. I'd also been feeling movement for well over 2 months by then. Everyone is different, just try not to stress about it!

I was just super excited because this is my second pregnancy and was looking forward to seeing all the movements even more than I did with my first and now I feel like I’m not going to see feet and body parts on my belly because placenta is blocking it
