For me, round ligament pain feels like pulling or stretching a muscle and it usually happens when I sneeze, laugh, or get up in a weird way. What you’re saying kind of reminds me of bad gas pains. When I was pregnant last time and had too much lactose the gas pains shifted up higher than usual (because baby was there) and my whole tummy would hurt. I’d definitely get your doctors opinion though!
What does round ligament pain feel like?
I'm 13 weeks, and starting last night I started getting a stabbing pain in my abdomen. It almost feels like a stomach cramp/gas, but it's all around, front and back. I felt it during the night while in bed, and then when I stood up and tried to walk to the bathroom this morning it intensified.
This is my second pregnancy, and I didn't experience this last time. I have an appointment next week so will bring it up with the doctor, just wondering if this is what round ligament pain is or maybe something more worrisome?
