period issue

i have been on my period for 11 days now and it has been pretty light. I normally have a heavy flow. I am on birth control and i am sexual active whenever i have sex though he is also always wearing a condom though. I’m not sure why my period is last long this long i also have really bad cramps for time to time during this period. is it because i’m stressing a lot?!? please help….
