No shower. I'm just way too picky with what I want for the baby and nobody ever sticks to the registry. I just hate impractical baby outfits.

I'm from Belgium - so it's not a thing here. We made a register at a store with all the things we need for the baby and this will be open for everyone to see and buy stuff off when he's born. We'll also set up and account for the baby where people can put money on. That's called a 'diaper bill/account'.

Nope. We’re in lockdown, plus think it’s a bit tacky to ask people to buy you stuff (in my opinion). We will be happy if anyone decided to give us a gift whatever it may be.

I never did with my first or this pregnancy .. I always wanted to but I don't really have anyone in my life that really would take their time out of their day to throw it for me. But it's okay I have everything baby girl needs 💕 and I thank God for that!!

Oh gosh, no way. To each their own. This is my second baby, I knew I didn’t want to go through another shower so I kept everything in pristine condition-just washed and sanitized all the equipment. All I had to get was diapers/wipes and boy clothes-which I learned to purchase from Mercari. I hate the attention, and the thank you notes and feeling obliged to let people touch my belly or having people feeling entitled to seeing the baby when he’s born. My mental health is my priority this time around. People will always have an opinion about everything, which is why I got off all social media and have been enjoying my family in complete and utter peace with no pressure to do what the mom down the street is doing.

We decided not to. I really just wanted to pick out my own things 🤷♀️. Anyone of course could get a gift if they wanted too but we also aren’t big on hosting parties. So when I brought it up to my husband and he said yeah we are good I was like 🙌
