Healthy ways to jumpstart ovulation?

I had laparoscopic surgery and it showed I have stage 1 endometriosis. However, I am still able to get pregnant, but with the help of medicine.

My doctor had told me that when he did the surgery he seen that my ovaries were inactive, meaning no ovulation, but my ovaries, tubes, everything looked really good.

He had mentioned I was able to still conceive, but probably wouldn't unless I did fertility medicine. I don't like the way I feel when taking it. I see a fertility specialist soon, but in the meantime I was wondering if anybody had tips or tricks on how to ovulate.

(Also, I'm wondering if the surgery may have helped just enough to increase chance of ovulation).
