Pumping Before she’s Born
I am trying to collect colostrum/milk before I have my daughter. I am 35 weeks pregnant. I pump, and the colostrum/milk comes out rather clear, milky white, but only in small drop intervals. I have one breast that makes a majority of my milk. I pump maybe an 8th of an ounce per sitting. This is my first baby, and I have no knowledge on breastfeeding/pumping. I’m just looking for some acknowledge/advice.
•Should I be producing more? •Should I even be worried about pumping before birth?
•Why would one Breast be dominate in production over the other ?
I just want to make sure I can feed my baby easily and efficiently, as soon as she’s born.
