Difference between pills
Hi, so I know what the difference between the combination pill and mini pill are, but does one of them have more benefits than the other? For instance, the combination pill that contains both progestin and estrogen increases someone’s chances of blood clots, heart attack, etc because of the estrogen. Therefore, why wouldn’t most people want the mini pill that does not pose that risk?
I am just wondering if someone knows more about this and is willing to share. I suffer with anxiety, and I was prescribed the combination pill, but after doing more research I see that the mini pill is good for those who have a history of blood clots and other things like if you are breastfeeding. & I don’t have a history of any of those things, but since the mini pill just seems safer, it makes me want to take that one instead lol. (Anxiety is just awful lol)
Thanks in advance!
