When did you get your postpartum period?

I’m 10 months postpartum and am wanting my cycle back so I can start trying for baby number 2. I have PCOS, but typically had my cycles every 6 weeks before getting pregnant. It took us 3 years to have my son and I’m itching to start trying ASAP. I don’t want to stop pumping just yet, so that isn’t an option to try and trigger it to start. I know everyone is different, but I’m just so sad I can’t try right now 😭

I EBF until my son was 27 months, but I got my first period back at 13 months postpartum.

You could be ovulating even though you’re not getting a period. Maybe try to track your basal temp to see?

I got mine back a little while after dropping to 2 ppd. But like pp said, you could still be ovulating even without having your period back.
