Dropped? First time mama

Everyone the past few days has been telling me it looks like I've dropped and I really noticed it today. I also feel like I have. I'm 33 weeks today, at what week did you all drop? Is it early for me to drop? Does this mean baby could come sooner than my due date?! 😅

Not necessarily. My little man dropped when I was 33 weeks. I'm 35 almost 36 weeks now and have been checked twice already and my cervix is still closed tight. You will feel movements in your pelvis from when your baby moves and even your vaginal walls moving from his movements occasionally, but keep an eye out for contractions and if you have any leakage down there. I haven't had any and he's been dropped since I was 33 weeks, almost 3 weeks ago.

34 weeks for me. I’m not sure if I will make it to my induction date of the 8th, though I wouldn’t be mad if she came early!

I dropped very early as well with my first and he was engaged from 35 weeks but I only went into labour 40 weeks + 5 days. So really anything is possible. I found it difficult hoping and expecting him to come early based on him being engaged so early and everyone’s comments, it made the wait so much more difficult. Currently pregnant with third a baby and although it seems like baby could come earlier and even doctor thinks it may happen I am just going with the flow and trusting that baby will come when it’s ready and trying to enjoy these last few weeks. Fully expecting that despite what the doctors say I may go over due as my previous two were five days late.
