D-MER

Hello, during pregnancy I was adamant about breastfeeding/pumping but the experience hasn’t been as ideal as I wanted it to be. While pumping I started to notice this unpleasant emotional feeling. After looking online, I found a condition that matched exactly how I am feeling! Has anyone experience D-MER? I have this “homesick” and irritable feeling while pumping. Not at all while nursing, just pumping. It’s to the point where I dread when it’s time to pump. The minute it’s over, the feeling goes away. So weird!

I’ll be talking to my dr about it and scheduling an appt with a lactation counselor but wanted feedback on anyone who has experienced it.
