Owlet Sock?

Is anyone planning on or already have the Owlet sock and baby monitor? Just trying to get any opinions on it.

I have the Nanit and love it.  We also have the Miku, so our 18 month old will take the Miku and put the Nanit on baby.

Yes. I didn’t sleep at all with my first because of severe postpartum anxiety and watching him all night.

I had both the sock and the monitor with my first, loved the sock and hated the monitor! 
Never had any of the false alarm issues with the sock that some people mention. My only complaint was she outgrew it a little faster than anticipated and it wouldn’t read her vitals anymore (around 8 months ish). It was a wonderful added peace of mind.
Personally, the monitor was a waste. We had great WiFi but it still would frequently (like multiple times each evening) drop connection and take longer than I was comfortable with after hearing sounds come through to reconnect. I would also leave it on through the night to hear her wake up and some mornings when I got up it had dropped and never reconnected so I wouldn’t even know how many hours I hadn’t been able to hear her. That, and since it was on my phone I was pretty much tethered to my charger from the time I turned it on until I went to bed myself. By the end of the day when she would go to bed my phone wouldn’t have enough battery left to run the monitor without being plugged in. I ditched it around her 1st birthday and got the VAVA monitor and LOVE it. I highly recommend to all of my mom friends!

I got one second hand for an amazing price. I didn't want to pay full price for it but I'm glad I found one because I feel like it will give me a bit of confidence that everything is ok!

I’ve heard good things about it but also at the same baby baby will physically have signs of drops in O2 and distress. My son at 3 weeks old was having bad retractions and his o2 was in the 70s and I noticed it without a little sock that cost me $600..
