Siamese cat?

Does anyone have a Siamese cat? Are they actually prone to health issues?

My dad has a siamese cat right now and she is about 16? I think. She has arthritis and some kidney issues but the vet believes that is because she spent most of her life in the basement ceiling. (We tried to stop her trust me but she always found a way up there. She just really likes laying up there for warmth.)

We've always had siamese cats in my family and all have been healthy and lived til 18 to 22 years old. I have a snowshoe siamese now and he's healthy, just thinks he's a dog is all so I guess I should say physically healthy. Mentally he's a nut ball, but a very sweet one lol

I had two and they were healthy unfortunately one ran away but my grandparents have my cat coco and he’s healthy as can be but he’s getting old

My aunt has always Siamese cats and almost all of them that I can remember have gone blind and almost all of them have had to be put down due to digestive or bladder issues.

My bestie had a siamese for 18 years. He had no health issues at all.

My sister has a simease ragdoll and it's been a healthy cat with no issues, idk how old it is exactly, she got it when I was in high school and that was about 11 years ago now.
