Drunk husband

My husband can be pretty unpredictable when he gets drunk.. He can be all happy and funny or just go extremely mental. Last night for example we were out with friends and we drank. Guess my husband wasn't gonna be a fun drunk because he got severally depressed and started crying and talking about suicide. We tried to calm him down but he locked himself in the bathroom and started crying and self harming. He cut himself pretty deep but not deep enough to do some serious damage. He fell asleep bleeding and crying on the floor so I bandaged him up and let him sleep it off. It just sucks that we can't ever go out and have a drink because idk which version of him I'm gonna get.
