I have been with my partner for almost 7 years now. Everything that we go through as a couple and everything we have gone through is a process and we have always overcome anything in our way. We love each other very much and I wouldn’t want to be with anyone else.

Saying that, I do feel stuck in where we are in the relationship. We are not moving forward. There’s no move in. There’s no marriage. There’s no promise ring. There’s nothing. And I feel like I am still dating that 16 year old boy that seems to care more about what his parents want more than me. Don’t get me wrong, family comes first. But his mother begs him to stay so he can pay her mortgage. And I don’t think that’s very fair.
