Period after miscarriage

I had a miscarriage July. I didn’t get my period until the august. Now my period was supposed to be here 14 days ago and no sign of it coming soon. I’m pretty regular so this is weird to me. I have taken several pregnancy test and they say I’m not pregnant. Has anyone had this happen?
